Hereward Homes is proud to announce that it has won a major regional LABC award for its Bank’s Farmyard development in Barholm, near Stamford. The 2022 award was given for ‘building excellence in the delivery of outstanding construction and workmanship’.
The LABC selected the Bank’s Farmyard as the ‘Best Small New Housing Development’ after a rigorous judging process which looked at the overall design, construction quality, environmental impacts, waste management/recycling, health and safety, approach to overcoming problems on site and how the company worked alongside LABC inspectors.

– Scott’s Farm development in Glinton –
Hereward Homes is proud to have won the prestigious ‘Best Small New Housing Development’ title at the regional LABC Awards for their Scott’s Farm development in Glinton.
The award is the third time that Hereward Homes has been recognised by the LABC. The project required meticulous planning as its prominent position within this desirable village meant that only an outstanding development would be acceptable to residents and local authorities. The project required an established and passionate developer and has required high levels of expertise and sufficient long-term investment to bring it to fruition. Working closely with the LABC team, the result is a high quality development that ticked all the boxes for the Award judges.

– Wistaria Farm development in Maxey –
We are proud that the quality of our Wistaria Farm development in Maxey was recognised by the LABC (Local Authority Building Control) and awarded the title of ‘best small residential development’ in 2014.
The LABC Building Excellence Awards span across England and Wales and are all about the essence of good buildings. The award was made because of the “high standards” shown in the design, construction and workmanship involved in the renovation of old agricultural buildings and quality of build on the new properties on the site. The company was encouraged to enter the awards by the team at Peterborough City Council Local authority building control team who recognised the amount of effort put into the Wistaria Farm scheme.
